James Edwards, Founder and Executive Director of Conservatives for Property Rights, is author of the book, To Invent Is Divine: Creativity and Ownership. A Lincoln Fellow (1998) with the Claremont Institute and former speechwriter at the Republican National Committee, Dr. Edwards authored the monograph "Property Rights: The Key to National Wealth and National Security" and has been published in the Washington Times, Investor's Business Daily, Fox Business, RealClearPolicy, and IPWatchdog, among other media outlets. He received the Eagle Award (2017) from Eagle Forum Education & Legal Defense Fund. Edwards appears as an expert in the award-winning documentary film "Innovation Race" (2022).
